Restaurant Cooks work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to broil, grille and/or saute
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
- Prepare high quality food items to order for our guests
Requirements:
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

THE BAG LADY BEGAN AS A LUNCH DELIVERY SERVICE WITH PAULA’S SONS, JAMIE AND BOBBY, DELIVERING BAG LUNCHES TO AREA BUSINESS PEOPLE IN THEIR OFFICES AROUND TOWN. AS THE DELIVERY AND CATERING BUSINESS GREW, THE BAG LADY EXPANDED IN 1991 INTO A FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT NAMED THE LADY IN THE BEST WESTERN HOTEL ON SAVANNAH’S SOUTHSIDE.
